Mizzou supporters rallied outside the Edward Jones Dome before watching Mizzou take on Illinois in the Arch Rivalry game. New and current alumni association members received a free gift, and everyone enjoyed seeing a Tiger victory!
More than 190 Mizzou alumni and friends gathered at the Redbird Club at Busch
Stadium to support the St. Louis Chapter scholarship fund. Those in attendance enjoyed
stadium tours, ballpark food, a performance by the alumni band, and a football preview
with Tiger football commentators Gary Link and John Kadlec. A silent auction raised
more than $7,000 for the scholarship fund.
It was a fabulous summer baseball day in the city, with nearly 75 Mizzou fans cheering on the Cardinals to victory over the Pirates. Afterwards, participants went to J Bucks Downtown for happy hour food and drink specials. Thanks to everyone who participated!
About 30 people joined the tiger trip to Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary, and then on to Crown Valley and Chaumenette Winery in Ste. Genevieve. The tiger tour provided an up-close look at these majestic animals. The wineries provided good music, good times and good discounts for all alums.
About 1000 people rallied at the pre-game tailgate, much more than had been expected. New and existing members spent the morning with music, Truman, and the MU cheerleaders. The Jack Daniel's sponsored event was a great precursor to the MU victory (and victory party) that followed.
It was a hot, humid baseball day in the city, yet 30+ people still attended the pre-party at Paddy O's bar. An estimated 85 people also attended the St. Louis Cardinals game. Thanks to everyone who participated!

The Scholarship Awards BBQ was almost forced to move inside from afternoon showers, but lightened up in time to keep the activities in the park. A good time and good food was enjoyed by all attendees. Scholarship recipients and their families had the chance to speak with graduates and learn tips to excel in their coming days at Mizzou. (Even the park ducks joined the pavilion to check out the scene.)
The annual trivia night took place in early March at the Richmond Heights Community Center. Over 230 University of Missouri alumni and supporters attended the event to raise money towards scholarships to be handed out this fall to local area high school students. This years event, which included a raffle and a few live auction items, raised in excess of $3000.

On Saturday, July 29, 2006, over 200 Mizzou alumni and friends joined together inside the St. Louis Zoo’s Living World. Along with announcing this year’s scholarships, there was dinner, music, live and silent auctions. We were also excited to have Coach Norm Stewart as the honorary chair who kept the audience entertained with his anecdotes and provided the scholarship winners with their first Mizzou memory. Through the generosity of the attendees, over $5000 was raised that night for the 2007 scholarship fund. Thanks to everyone for their participation. We hope to see you next year at the 2007 Roaring Reunion being held on June 9, 2007. Check the Upcoming Events page for more details.
