Forty poker players played their best hands at the Texas Hold'em Tournament. THe top four finishers all enjoyed cash prizes, and the proceeds from the event go to the chapter scholarship fund.

Young alums gathered at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant for the year's first happy hour for graduates of the last ten years. Everyone enjoyed the great food and drinks, and it was a fun opportunity to meet other young alums.

Mizzou supporters tested themselves at the chapter's annual trivia night. All proceeds benefited the chapter scholarship fund. Questions ranged from facts about the chapter to actual questions from exams taken by current Mizzou freshmen.

The annual Braggin' Rights game was off to a great start when Mizzou fans packed Joe Buck's downtwon for a pregame happy hour. The event included drink specials, trivia, and a live remote by KMOX. The Mizzou spirit carried over to the game, propelling the Tigers to their first Braggin' Rights win in nine seasons!

Tiger fans dined on some delicious fried jayhawk for a cause. Fans purchased 90 dinners at The Corner Pub and Grill, as well as donating toys and purchasing "Eat, Drink & Beat KU" t-shirts. The event raised $1000 for Circle of Concern.

The Corner Pub and Grill was full of Mizzou fans on Saturday night as the Tigers played Oklahoma State. Unfortunately, the cheers of the Mizzou fans weren't enough to garner a Mizzou victory.

It may have been raining in Columbia, but St. Louis Mizzou fans were warm and dry at The Corner Pub and Grill watching Mizzou play Nebraska on a rare Thursday night game. Two lucky fans even won tickets to the Homecoming game!

Mizzou fans packed The Corner Pub and Grill to watch Mizzou beat Nevada in a nationally televised game. Fans participating in a Tiger Trivia Contest had a chance to win tickets to the Mizzou/Nebraska game and other Tiger gear.

Despite a rainy start to the day, Mizzou fans were out in full force at Mizzou Headquarters prior to the start of the Mizzou v. Illinois Arch Rivalry game. MAA Members received a special gift, and all fans enjoyed music and appearances by the Mizzou Spirit Squad! After the rally, Tiger fans cheered Mizzou on to another Arch Rivarly victory!

The Gateway Tigers Chapter Scholarship Fund received a boost on July 25 from everyone attending Soiree in Stripes (formerly Roaring Reunion). Mizzou supporters enjoyed exploring The Magic House, bidding on fabulous silent auction items, meeting Mizzou baseball coach Tim Jamieson, listening to the Marching Mizzou Alumni Band and having a delicious dinner.

Gateway Tigers were up close and personal with real tigers at the Tiger Sanctuary in Ste. Genevieve. After a tour, the group enjoyed a wine sampling and winery tour at Crown Valley Winery.
The chapter board recently helped clean up 13 properties in the Spanish Lake area. The board partnered with NAN to gater 40 yards of trash, 40 yards of brush and recycle 300 pounds of scrap metal, saving St. Louis County $9,000.
More than 135 Mizzou fans took over the VIP deck at the Outfield at Mike Shannon's for happy hour before watching the Cardinals sweep the Cubs!
Mizzou fans enjoyed cheering on the Tigers as they advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Fans packed Alandale Brewing Company in Kirkwood and the International Tap House in Chesterfield to watch the games. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Tigers!
The chapter scholarship fund received another contribution thanks to the spring Texas Hold 'Em tournament at the Webster Groves Rec Complex.
Mizzou supporters packed the Richmond Heights Community Center for the annual trivia night. The 296 participants enjoyed ten rounds of trivia, a 50/50 raffle, Mizzou door prizes and a silent auction. The event raised $6000 for scholarships for area high school students.
More than 35 Mizzou alumni and friends attended the third annual Mizzou Texas Hold 'Em tournament and raised $300 for the chapter scholarship fund. The top three players earned cash prizes, and the event included raffles for MU/IL basketball tickets and Mizzou football tickets. Thanks to everyone who participated!
Young alums kicked off Homecoming weekend with happy hour at the DD Lounge in Brentwood. Alums enjoyed drink specials in Mizzou glasses and raffles for Mizzou Alumni items.
Mizzou supporters rallied outside the Edward Jones Dome before watching Mizzou take on Illinois in the Arch Rivalry game. New and current alumni association members received a free gift, and everyone enjoyed seeing a Tiger victory!
More than 190 Mizzou alumni and friends gathered at the Redbird Club at Busch
Stadium to support the St. Louis Chapter scholarship fund. Those in attendance enjoyed
stadium tours, ballpark food, a performance by the alumni band, and a football preview
with Tiger football commentators Gary Link and John Kadlec. A silent auction raised
more than $7,000 for the scholarship fund.
It was a fabulous summer baseball day in the city, with nearly 75 Mizzou fans cheering on the Cardinals to victory over the Pirates. Afterwards, participants went to J Bucks Downtown for happy hour food and drink specials. Thanks to everyone who participated!
About 30 people joined the tiger trip to Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary, and then on to Crown Valley and Chaumenette Winery in Ste. Genevieve. The tiger tour provided an up-close look at these majestic animals. The wineries provided good music, good times and good discounts for all alums.
About 1000 people rallied at the pre-game tailgate, much more than had been expected. New and existing members spent the morning with music, Truman, and the MU cheerleaders. The Jack Daniel's sponsored event was a great precursor to the MU victory (and victory party) that followed.
It was a hot, humid baseball day in the city, yet 30+ people still attended the pre-party at Paddy O's bar. An estimated 85 people also attended the St. Louis Cardinals game. Thanks to everyone who participated!
The second ever Gateway Tigers Mizzou Hold’em Tournament to benefit scholarships for local students attending the University of Missouri was held on Friday, August 24th, 2007 at the Bevo Mill restaurant. The tournament began at 7:00pm and included dinner, drinks, and appetizers later that night. Prizes were awarded to the top three players. Over $600 was raised that night for the 2007 scholarship fund. Thanks to everyone for their participation. We hope to see you at the next event.
The Scholarship Awards BBQ was almost forced to move inside from afternoon showers, but lightened up in time to keep the activities in the park. A good time and good food was enjoyed by all attendees. Scholarship recipients and their families had the chance to speak with graduates and learn tips to excel in their coming days at Mizzou. (Even the park ducks joined the pavilion to check out the scene.)
The annual trivia night took place in early March at the Richmond Heights Community Center. Over 230 University of Missouri alumni and supporters attended the event to raise money towards scholarships to be handed out this fall to local area high school students. This years event, which included a raffle and a few live auction items, raised in excess of $3000.

On Saturday, July 29, 2006, over 200 Mizzou alumni and friends joined together inside the St. Louis Zoo’s Living World. Along with announcing this year’s scholarships, there was dinner, music, live and silent auctions. We were also excited to have Coach Norm Stewart as the honorary chair who kept the audience entertained with his anecdotes and provided the scholarship winners with their first Mizzou memory. Through the generosity of the attendees, over $5000 was raised that night for the 2007 scholarship fund. Thanks to everyone for their participation.
